SONG

Worries

 By Vicky Manning

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my hair.

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my hair.

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my hair.

Right-Out-Of- My-Hair! (Shout Out)

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my fingers.

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my fingers.

I’m going to shake those worries

Right out of my fingers.

Right-Out-Of-My-Fingers (Shout Out)

I’m going to wiggle those worries

Right out of my body.

I’m going to wiggle those worries

Right out of my body.

I’m going to wiggle those worries

Right out of my body.

And-Worry-No-More! (Shout out)

“Have you ever worried till it made you sick?  Have you ever worried and had the best day ever?  I have a potato with me today and he is a book character from the children’s book, “I’m Worried.”

“Hi Potato!”

Potato

Hi!

“Tell us who wrote the book, I’m worried, and who illustrated the children’s book.”

Potato

Michael Ian Black is the author and he lives in Connecticut.  The illustrator is Debbie Ridpath Ohi and you can visit her at DebbieOhi.com or @InkyElbows on Twitter.

“Great, so Potato you don’t look to worried today but are we being fooled?”

Potato

“I’m a little worry wart. It stresses me when I worry.  My friend Penguin worries too but we have one friend who never worries. She’s very smart.”

“So, what do you worry about?”

Potato

“Oh, just about everything. In my mind it starts with the, what if’s.”

“The what if’s?”

Potato

“Yes, and I want you to read our book, so you will not have, “what if times” and to find out why we have bubble wrap in our story.”

“You hear that folks?  Check out this book! No one wants to worry and I’m dying to find out about the bubble wrap.”
