Bunny Craft and Interview with a children’s book character

“Bunnies are so cute, soft, and huggable. My guest today is a young man who always wanted a bunny.” Hi, we are glad to have you here today to tell us about your character and how you are used to make this story special.”

“Start by telling us today the name and the author of the children’s book.”

Young man

The name of the book is, “My Funny Bunny.”  The author and illustrator is Christine Roussey. She has written several children’s books, “My Stinky Dog and My Lazy Cat.”  She is the illustrator of “In My Heart”, “Hello In There”, “In My Room”, “Brave as Can Be”, and All My Treasures.  Christine lives in Paris.

“Thank You.  Can you tell us about your character?”

Young man

I like bunnies and on my birthday my Uncle gave me one for my birthday.  I could not wait to meet my cool bunny.  When I opened the box, I was a stinker.  I cried because he did not look like I thought he would look.  Disappointment took over me before I knew it.

Read the book and you will meet my funny bunny.  He was not mean or disappointed in me as I was with him.

“First I want to say, “Happy Birthday!  Next I have to say I have looked at this book and the drawings of funny bunny are adorable.”

Young man

He grows on you.  I wished I had not been so ugly to him because he is the best pet I ever had.

“Well, thank you for coming and everyone check out this book or go and buy your own copy today.”

Bunnies

By Vicky Manning

Have you ever played with bunnies?

With bunnies, with bunnies?

Have you ever played with bunnies?

I hope you can soon.

They are soft and furry

And can hop away in a hurry.

Have you ever played with bunnies?

I hope you can soon.
