Self-Esteem theme

“A cute little penguin is our guest children’s book character.”  We are glad you could come to tell us about your new book.”

Penguin

I’m so happy to be here to celebrate you!

“You came to celebrate me and others?”

Penguin

Yes, we are all special.

“Tell us the name of the book, author, and illustrator.”

Penguin

The book of course name, “Celebrate You!”  The author is Sherri Duskey Rinker and the illustrator is A.N. Kang.

“We would love to hear something about the author and illustrator.”

Penguin

Sure, I’ll start with the author; Sherri is the #1 author of Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site; Steam Train, Dream Train; Silly Wonderful You; and other popular picture books.  She lives in Chicago with her husband.

A.N. Kang created me and the great illustrations in the book. She is a Korean-born designer. She debuted as an author and illustrator with her picture book, “The Very Fluffy Kitty, Papillon.

“Tell us about the book and what part you take in it.”

Penguin

I was created to show everyone how life needs to be celebrated.  We are special and have overcome many obstacles.  This story makes me feel good inside about myself and it will make you feel good about yourself too. When you read the book you will see other characters helping celebrate me and you.

What a wonderful book that makes people think back about their lives and to give themselves a pat on the back for their accomplishments in their live.  Do yourself a favor and read this book today.”

CELEBRATION!

Have a party celebrating who you are.
