Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fab Monday.
Today I’m reading, “The Town of Turtle,” by Michelle Cuevas. Art! Art! Art! and a great story too. How would you like to live in a dark shell? Well, Turtle did not and in this story he builds himself a new world inside his shell. If you have a place to read your story under a sheet (maybe a sheet or sheets over two tables) read it there.
When reading this story please show the pictures and then revisit them after the story with the class. Give each student a large sheet of white paper and instruct them to draw a new world for their shell. Give the students tape to place their pictures under the sheets.
